OVERVIEW
The S-8770 is a Li-ion battery pack with a nominal voltage of 7.2V. It is compatible with SONY L series DV batteries and can be used as a replacement for the SONY NP-F770. This battery pack has a capacity of 31Wh / 4.4Ah and features multiple circuit protections. When used with cameras such as SONY HVR-V1/Z1/Z7, DSR-PD190, and HD1000E, the S-8770 can display remaining power information on the camera’s viewfinder. It can run for approximately 3.5 hours on a SONY HVR-Z1 camcorder when the LCD monitor is on.

The S-8770 can be charged using the SWIT Dual channel charger S-3602F or the SONY original charger. It takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge from empty.
