The Hawk-Woods DV-BP (DVBP) Z-CAM E2 BPU Direct Mount is a versatile and essential accessory for Z-CAM E2 cameras. This product, designed by Hawk-Woods, is exclusive to the UK and is available through the Z-CAM distributor CVP (Creative Video Productions).

The DV-BP is an adaptor plate that allows you to mount Sony BPU 14v batteries onto your Z-CAM E2 camera. It is designed to fit into the camera’s NPF fitting and is secured with a back plate. The LEMO fly lead is then attached to the DV-BP, providing power to the camera via the DC input.

With the DV-BP, you can still use the Smallrig cage by mounting it through the M3 holes on the back plate. The DV-BP comes with longer 12mm screws, making it easy to attach the cage separately.

To install the DV-BP, simply attach the anodised back plate to the camera using the screws provided. Once the back plate is securely mounted, you can then attach the BPU plate to it, creating a convenient and reliable power source for your Z-CAM E2.

In addition to the BPU plate, you can also purchase the VLM-ZC, which can be attached via a dummy BPU. This accessory offers a mini-vl fitting plate, allowing you to use mini-vl batteries. It also provides a Power-con and USB output, giving you even more options for powering your camera.

About The Hawk-Woods DV-BP Z-CAM E2 Direct Mount
The DV-BP for Z CAM E2 will fit to the camera’s NPF fitting and screw in via a back plate which is intended to stay mounted physically to the camera, the LEMO fly lead will be attached to this product to power via the DC input.

This then offers you a Sony BPU fitting for use with the BPU 14v batteries.

Using this product, you can still mount the Smallrig cage going through the M3 holes of our back plate using the longer 12mm screws provided separately with the product.

To fit this product, firstly mount the anodised back plate to the camera with screws provided. Once this is attached you can then mount the BPU plate to the anodised back plate.

You can also purchase the VLM-ZC which then attaches via a dummy BPU and offers a mini-vl fitting plate so you can use mini-vl batteries. This would also offer you a Power-con and USB output.
