OVERVIEW
HDMI Deep Colour is a technology that supports better colour depths, resulting in a high-quality image on your display device. This feature allows for the transmission of HDMI signals up to 60m at 1080p and 35m at 4K@30 using Cat 6 cable. The extender is also capable of supporting Ultra HD and Full HD resolution, as well as digital audio. The receiver can be powered by a power supply or through Power over Ethernet from the transmitter, making it easy to install for various applications. Additionally, the HBT-5 transmitter can be powered by the same single power source using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and supports 12V power out for remotely located equipment. The extender is also HDCP compliant, ensuring a clear and uninterrupted display of video sources with HDCP.
The HBT-5 extender also offers RS-232/RS-422 control signals, allowing for control of the source device from the display location. It supports default EDID and EDID learning from the display, which allows for the passing of signals between the source and display.
